TAMPA (6:55 A.M. MONDAY) - All lanes on northbound I-275 are now open between SR 60 (exit 39) and Lois Avenue (exit 40b).
Asphalt put down over the weekend had some issues and caused potholes to develop. Crews worked continuously overnight to fix, but could not open the road until it was safe to do so. This work was just completed. FDOT regrets the inconvenience to drivers, but safety of the motoring public is the first priority.
Delays continue EB on the Howard Frankland from the mid span portion of the bridge.
TAMPA (DOT 7:15 P.M. SUNDAY) - The right lane is closed on northbound I-275 between SR 60 (exit 39) and Lois Avenue (exit 40b) due to developing potholes. a second lane will likely be closing around 7:30 p.m. One to two lanes will be closed in this area overnight as crews repair sections of asphalt.
All lanes should be open by - or hopefully well before - 5:30 a.m. and the heavy morning commuting hours.
