Detectives need help identifying lobster tail theft suspects

CLEARWATER, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Pinellas County detectives need help finding two suspects who they say stole lobster tails from a Clearwater seafood market.

According to detectives, the suspects came inside Wards Seafood Market & Galley at 1001 Belleair Road in Clearwater on Wednesday, August 28, 2014 at 1:45 p.m. Deputies say the two female suspects were seen on surveillance video (above) standing near a tall cooler where the lobster tails were stored. After a few minutes, investigators say one of the female suspects is seen reaching in the cooler, taking multiple lobster tails and placing them in the bottom of a stroller. Then, they left the store and drive away in a newer model, maroon, 4-door sedan, deputies said.

Descriptions from PCSO:

Suspect#1 - black female with short black hair, wearing a black and white striped dress, carrying a black and white striped bag and pushing a stroller.

Suspect #2 - black female with a lip piercing, wearing a multi-colored striped dress, black hair cap and carrying a baby carrier.

The suspects had three young children with them at the time of the theft.
