Dog saved from burning home in Pinellas Park

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. (970 WFLA)Pinellas Park firefighters saved a dog named ‘Casper’ from a burning home Tuesday.

It happened on the 5900 block of 107 Ter. N.

When crews arrived, they say smoke was coming from the eves of the house, six people had already escaped, but the dog was still inside.

Officials say firefighter Rick Dudley found the dog and brought him out. He appeared to be fine.

The fire is under investigation and the Red Cross is helping out.
