VALRICO, Fla. (WFLA.com) - The family of a missing 16-year-old girl is intensifying its search and is now offering $10,000 for her safe return.

Ashley Lyon has been missing since Wednesday. Authorities said Ashley may be with Steven Myers, a sex offender who lives in
Plant City.

“I’m terrified; I’m scared to death and frustrated," said Michelle Lyon, Ashley's mother. "I just want her to come home. You’re not in trouble. I need her to come home.”

Michelle, her husband Roger, a brother-in-law and friend handed out fliers at a shopping center in Valrico Saturday afternoon.

Ashley was last seen Wednesday walking in the 4700 block of
Water Lark Way.
