NEW PORT RICHEY (970 WFLA) -- Pasco sheriff's deputies shot and killed a man they say, was shooting at them, as they tried to question him for an attempted arson fire.

The Sheriff's Office says 43 year old Patrick Gerome Tillery tried to set a business and cars on fire, at Rock Bottom Auto Sales on State Road 52 in Hudson.

Deputies made contact with Tillery to talk to him about the case, and entered his home around 1:24 a.m., which is when they say he opened fire. They shot back. Tillery died from gunshot wounds. No Pasco deputies were injured.
