Help Detectives Identify Skimmer Suspect

Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)- On September first,  two skimmers were found on each of the ATMs at the SunTrust Bank at 1701 East 7th Avenue in Ybor City. Tampa police detectives say the  skimmers were installed on the machines around 7:12 that Friday evening.  

The suspect is seen on surveillance video wearing a dark colored floppy hat and dark t-shirt.   He's  believed to be  either Hispanic or Middle Eastern, in his late 20's, medium build, black or brown hair cut low, a full beard and was wearing a white Armani Exchange shirt.

He came back at 9:38 p.m. and detectives think he was  testing the skimmers by making a transaction.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect involved in this case. Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspect and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477)
