FSU Discovers Offense against Georgetown

Not one of the better shooting teams in the country, FSU has discovered its touch in the NIT.

Florida State hit for a red-hot 68 per cent Monday in a 101-90 win against Georgetown in Tallahassee.

The Noles will play at home again Wednesday in the quarterfinals against Louisiana Tech. The winner will head to the semifinals at Madison Square Garden.

Georgetown hadn't allowed 100 points in regulation since the 2000-01 season.

Aaron Thomas scored 26 points while Devon Booker had 21 points and added nine assists.
