The offense has seen its fair share of success so far this training camp. However, as of late it seems as if the offense has gotten the better of the defense during scrimmages.

This has raised the eyebrows of several, both media and fans.

During Thursday's hurry-up drills, the first-team offense marched down the field and scored. That prompted wide receiver Vincent Jackson to send off the defense by waiving them off the field and showing appreciation to quarterback Josh McCown for the way he managed the offense.

On another occasion, even the second-team players got in on the act. Quarterback Mike Glennon threw a pass with excellent touch just over a defender and into the arms of Eric Page for a touchdown. While many applauded from the excitement of the offense, some questioned the defense's poor play.

Several on social media have wondered if the defense should be worried about with so much of the focus and attention being on the offense this season due to its uncertainty.

In training camp, several different personnel groupings are used and rotated. The staff is trying to install certain plays during certain situations which can easily result in confusion or players not being in the right position.

So should there be any reason for concern or reason to question the defense? No. Especially since it hasn't been a full week of training camp practices.
