In other news…a new review of the data suggests that mood changes aren’t as closely tied to menses as many have assumed. In other words they’re saying that PMS may be a myth. I’m here to tell you its NOT. But a team in New Zealand reviewed 47 studies that followed women’s moods across their cycle. Only 15% of the studies found that women tended to have “classic” PMS: moods that worsened as that time of the month approached and lifted when menstruation occurred. What they did find was that PMS that lasted longer that just “before” a woman’s cycle for 38%!  And 38% of the studies found no association between mood and any particular phase of the cycle

This story freaked me out because I have teenaged nieces and nephews who probably drink this stuff.  I’m not saying this kills anyone but I drank a Monster Energy once and I thought I'd have a heart attack.  And true enough; the FDA has launched an investigation into the death of a teen who had TWO Monster Energy Drinks. The Maryland 14 year old girl died right before Christmas last year from a heart attack brought on 'caffeine toxicity' after drinking two 24-ounce cans of Monster Energy within 24 hours.  There have now been 5 suspicious deaths, actually.  Monster is the leading U.S. energy drink by volume with 39% of market and it’s described by the company as a 'killer energy brew.’ It contains seven times the amount of caffeine as can of cola

You know that home made sex tape you’ve making?  A new study says it will more than likely be made public at some point.  Eighty-eight percent of homemade pornography, including videos and still images, finds its way onto porn sites, often without the owners' knowledge.  Some parasite will find your lost or stolen cell phone, hack your Photobucket, Flickr, or Facebook account, or rip off your pics from chat sites and Tumblr, which I’m learning is notorious for the amount of explicit self-published content by high school and college-age students.

Guess what? Tampa is now one of the 3 MOST expensive places to live in the country!  I'm feeling it. I believe it. We’ve always heard NY-ers complain the loudest about how much they spend to live in the Big Apple but by comparison they actually don’t have it so bad.  According to a new study by the Center for Housing Policy & the Center for Neighborhood Technology.  They calculated the share of income a middle-class household spends on transportation and housing. The top three most expensive cities for the middle class are Miami, FL; Riverside, CA and Tampa, FL, where the average middle-class household is spending more than 65 percent of their income on housing and transportation…transportation is largely to blame in Tampa Bay.
