House Republicans have begun efforts to reform our immigration laws, and Democrats are, of course, angry.

Did You Hear About the Vaccine Tax?... Obamacare Soaks Young People...

RUSH: He was engaged, and he was opinionated, and he was informed. He was a thoughtful, thinking, considerate, caring, real man.  A brave, brave guy.  He went out of his way to do anything he could for anybody and didn't expect anything in return, didn't want anything in return. There are a lot of people who are gonna miss him terribly.  Everybody that knew him is gonna miss him terribly. 

RUSH: The CBO report has come out on this bill (chuckling), and the way it's being interpreted is laughable.  The idea that this is gonna grow the economy? It's almost an exact replay of Obamacare, particularly in the way the whole thing is being scored. 

CRUZ: As you know, a lot of Americans are fed up. They're fed up with Democrats and they're fed up with Republicans. They're fed up with politicians in Washington who don't stand for anything.  And it's how we've gotten in this mess. It's how we've gotten $17 trillion in debt, and, if we keep doing business as usual, it's how we're gonna pass yet another amnesty bill that doesn't fix the problem. And I think Americans are really fed up with that and we need to stand up and stop it.

RUSH: His speech, it kind of fizzled at the end. Chris Matthews offered a reason why.  The setting sun made it difficult for Obama to see the teleprompter.  He couldn't see the text.  So it was the sun's fault. 

RUSH: Marco Rubio, to a lot of Republicans, is the great hope.  Presidential politics, Marco Rubio ranks high on many people's lists.  And, I can tell you, folks, there are a lot of Republicans who are hoping, they're willing to give Senator Rubio a pass on this to a certain extent because he's so good at articulating conservatism... They're hoping he backs out of it. They're hoping that, at the last minute, he'll just withdraw from this so as not to be tainted by it.  Because, the fact of the matter is, there will be significant Republican outrage if this thing passes and it's made possible by significant Republican participation.

RUSH: The New Jersey legislature wants to start using taxpayers' dollars to subsidize college tuition for students who are in the country illegally.

RUSH:  The Democrats want national health care.  We don't say "no" and oppose it.  We have to have an alternative.  So they're always setting the agenda.

RUSH: Obama got away from the playbook here.  He got away from the Limbaugh Theorem... The young Generation Text, who live their lives on their devices, are watching this NSA thing, and, all of a sudden, Obama doesn't appear to be against it anymore.

RUSH: His name is Elbert Guillory, and he is a Republican, and he released a video message to his constituents about why he switched parties from Democrat to Republican.  It's amazing.  We've heard it before in various forms over the course of many years, but with our low-information outreach that is taking place here on the EIB Network, it's especially timely.

RUSH: You and I all know why they want to speed this up.  They don't want anybody to find out what's in it.  This bill already weighs 24 pounds.  It's already in the thousands of pages.  It is just like Obamacare.  There are people who do not want you to know everything that's in this bill.  That's why the speed (in addition to the falling polling numbers on this). 

RUSH:  The Republicans are hated, and they're hated by all of these groups that vote Democrat.  So the only way that's gonna change is to support what all of these Democrat groups want because that will prove to these Democrat groups that they are wrong in how they think about us?

RUSH: This is where your own intelligence guided by experience has to inform you.  And looking at both sides of this isn't gonna get you anywhere.  You have to have the courage to admit that one side is wrong.  And 99 times out of a hundred it's gonna be the left that's wrong.

RUSH:  These people are talking about it, while not even knowing it. 

RUSH: Now, about this ruling? Yesterday I told you when the ruling came down that I was ill-equipped and unprepared to comment on it because it happened close enough to the start of the program that I was unable to look at the ruling, the decision, and I had only had an AP story. 

RUSH:  And where are most of these shootings happening, Vice President Biden?  Aren't they in places run by people in your party, like in Chicago and Washington, DC, where you happen to be? 

It’s the government, and government workers, we should feel sorry for. They’re the real victims of government scandals. The bell tolls for them. Not our liberties. Their livelihoods are what counts, not ours. We’ve been selfish.

RUSH: So the Gang of Eight is not writing the bill.  Obama is... The Limbaugh Theorem shows up every day, sometimes multiple times a day.  

RUSH: On the surface it appears to be one of these things that's infuriating, yet it's a 7-2 decision.  

RUSH: It's the low-information population there, Snerdley.  That's what that is.  I mean, hello?

RUSH:  Just go to settings, notifications, scroll all the way to the bottom, and you'll see if they've been installed on your phone.  Amber Alerts and Emergency Alerts, you can turn those two off.  The Presidential Alert doesn't display.  You can't turn that off. 

RUSH: I had not heard that line of thinking from anybody, that this immigration bill will be determined by that: who has ultimate authority over border security.

RUSH: All of the moneyed interests, the donors and the political consultants, are telling these Republicans the money is gonna dry up if they don't support amnesty.  The big money people want it, and they want it for various other reasons that have nothing to do with the Constitution or the law.  

CALLER: There's a lot of Hispanics, a lot of us against amnesty.  I myself have lost three jobs due to that fact.  They'd rather have two illegals instead of me, and I am an American citizen. 

RUSH: Here again is where I get to illustrate my utter naivete.  I don't understand why the Democrat Senator Menendez wants to us win the White House.  Can anybody out there explain to me why Senator Menendez wants the Republican Party to have a pathway to the White House?
