Abortion, same-sex stuff: in there. Entitlements, welfare, food stamps, high taxes: in there. GOD? Not wanted. That’s the Democrat Party of Obama.

RUSH: Yesterday, including most of last night, was perhaps one of the worst, flattest, most embarrassing days for a political party at its convention in the history of conventions. And yet, the media and a lot of Democrats think the election's over because of last night. 

MATTHEWS:  I always figured that if Bill Clinton landed on Mars, he would know how to do it with them. He would know how to reproduce. He would know everything. He'd just instinctively know how to talk to people.

RUSH: Keep in mind Barack Obama has been president for three-and-a-half, almost four years now.  Keep that in mind as you listen to this woman talk about how rotten things are.

RUSH: Just be on the lookout. Keep a sharp eye out tonight for Obama making subtle references in the form of, "I got a feelin' things are turnin' around. It's taken a long while, but our policies are finally taking root, and then, voila! We all wake up tomorrow and, "Why, looky here! Unemployment is 7.9%," or some such thing.

RUSH:  There are 23 million people not working.  In fact, the number could be close to 80 when you count those that have given up, gone way beyond their 99 weeks.  It's atrocious, this number of people not working, and for them to run around and talk about 4.5 million jobs created, they know they are lying through their teeth. 

RUSH: Analysis you can't get anywhere else but CNN, which is why so few people get their analysis there.

RUSH:  The media is getting bored. There is no excitement commensurate with what happened in 2008 in Denver.

RUSH:  Let me tell you what really happened...

RUSH:  We are in deep doo-doo here, folks. This is not good.
