Chicago taxpayers were already paying teachers $76,000 a year, on average. In the midst of the Obama Great Recession, teachers were offered a massive increase: 16 percent. They refused.

RUSH:  You and I, this audience, you didn't need it to know it because we know liberals. And that's why on January 16th, 2009, we said we hope Obama fails.  Well, I did, and you agreed with me.

RUSH: Snerdley says to me, "In 14 minutes, you just put everything in the last 3-1/2 years (plus four days) into perspective. You did it in 14 minutes. How come Republican consultants can't do it in 24 hours?" Twenty-four hours? How about: Why can't they do it inside of a campaign? 

RUSH: They couldn't believe what I said yesterday about agreeing with Romney and the opportunity it presented.

RUSH: They think everybody else sees Romney as stupid, so they gotta say so, too, to make sure that they're not looked at the same way people are supposedly looking at Romney. But they're totally misreading the American people on this.

RUSH: Some people are hearing this, "Oh, my God, this guy thinks I'm gonna have to work. Oh, my God, I can't vote for this guy.  This guy's gonna make me get a job."  Now, the question is, is that 50% of the country?

CALLER:  I'm in the 47%, and I am not offended. I support Romney.

RUSH: Obama yukking it up. He's talking about how much he weighs and he's talking about all that. It's really not presidential at all. It's Celebrity of the United States-type stuff,

RUSH: I think if you ask Jimmy Carter IV, he'd probably tell you it's hard work sitting down there in the basement or wherever he's putting search terms into Google.
