It's Bigger Than Obama -- We're Witnessing What Happens When Liberalism Rules
RUSH: This is what happens when liberals end up in charge of government: Big Government, out-of-control government, tyrannical government, if you want to say that. But it just expands, and the government ends up populated with people who are there to use the power and the full force of government against citizens. This is what has happened and what will get worse.

The Federal Government is After Us
RUSH: The primary objective of Barack Obama and all these people is the elimination of opposition. The realities of this story, what we've learned here, is conservatives have been put on notice. The federal government is after us.

RUSH: He was a hero to everybody that knew him. He was indefatigable. He was constantly on the go. He had energy that was enviable. He was always upbeat and laughing and smiling, but he was loaded for bear, and he was fearless.

The unlawful persecution of Tea Party and Patriot groups by Obama’s IRS was just the beginning.
RUSH: The conventional wisdom is that media has turned on Obama, but I don't believe it... Obama is right where he wants to be in this... I am begging you to keep an open mind about the Limbaugh Theorem to understand precisely what's happening here and the way that we can successfully attack this.
RUSH: Now, you're sitting there and you're saying, "Ah, that's crazy." Remember who her audience is. The low-information crowd is gonna eat this up.
RUSH: I don't know of any other president who has been successful in detaching himself from the events of his own administration.
RUSH: He was asked whether anyone in the White House knew about what the IRS was doing. What did he say? He answered by assuring that he personally did not know anything about the IG report. He's talking about the IG report. He didn't know anything about that. Sorry, that answer has nothing to do with the question he was asked.
RUSH: This is Big Government out of control. When liberals end up with this kind of power, this is how they use it. This is why they want government to be big, and it's why they want to be part of government. They thirst for this power and they love using this power. They love turning the power of the federal government on their enemies.
RUSH: This Nixon comparison is starting to bug me 'cause it's the wrong comparison.
RUSH: It can't be said that he did or didn't do anything, because he didn't. He wasn't there.
In a condescending CNN op-ed, lefty Paul Waldman says frustrated Republicans failed to “gin up a juicy” Obama scandal. Solyndra and Fast & Furious were “gigantic nothing burgers.”
RUSH: "Obama couldn't have been involved! He couldn't have been directly involved. He's too disengaged. He's President Passerby. He's too bored. He's not engaged daily. The job's not that interesting to him," blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Let me tell you something: He doesn't have to be. All he has to do is what he did: Put like-minded people in these positions.
RUSH: The real War on Women had nothing to do with conservatives or contraception or birth control or abortion or any of that. That was entirely manufactured. The real War on Women was occurring at the IRS. The real War on Women was the IRS and the Obama regime denying tax-exempt status to 527s and Tea Party groups. And I'm telling you, many of those were headed by women at the leadership level.
RUSH: Don't say anything, folks. 'Cause all you're gonna do is make the independents mad, and they'll just run back to the Democrats. Don't pile on. Don't gloat. Don't say, "I told you so."
RUSH: When you're taught about government in junior high, you get the sanitized version of it, as you do of everything when you first learn about it at a young age. What you end up believing is that politics is made up of a contest of ideas, and people campaign on their ideas, and the best ideas win.
RUSH: This is what Eric Holder knows. It's what Obama knows. No matter what, African-American officeholders are not gonna be removed in America in 2013. Nobody is going to kick Eric Holder out, no matter what. They're not gonna impeach him, censor him, ditto Obama. It isn't going to happen. Nobody will even make the first move towards it. Nobody.
RUSH: The guy at the IRS is fully capable and willing to obstruct conservatives, to punish conservatives, to wage war -- political war -- against them. He doesn't need an owner's manual. He doesn't need a meeting every day.
RUSH: I said, "Whenever you like, Mr. President..." I extended the invitation yesterday to help advise him on a way past this, advise him on how to get the cooperation of Republicans, how to move the country forward. I'd be glad to sit down with the president and discuss this, to help to begin moving the country in the right direction. I don't expect him to reply, but I just want to reiterate that I have extended the invitation.
RUSH: It's 16,000 additional agents they're hiring.
