Seffner Hit-and-Run Kills Woman Walking Along Road

Seffner, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A hit-and-run crash late Friday left a pedestrian dead, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

A vehicle struck Linda Kay Fisher, 46, as she walked along Black Dairy Road in Seffner at about 11:30 p.m., according to a HCSO news release. Someone found her body in a ditch next to the road at first light.

Evidence left at the scene, including paint chips, indicate that the vehicle could be red or orange in color. Deputies ask anyone who can help them identify the vehicle or its driver to call 813-247-8200 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
